toowoomba north state school roof

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

As part of ongoing heritage conservation works at Toowoomba North State School, our team completed a detailed roof refurbishment on one of the site’s original buildings.

The scope included replacing broken tiles and corroded valleys, rebedding and repointing all ridge cappings, and recoating the roof in its original heritage colour. We also carried out targeted repairs to the bell tower to stop water ingress and ensure its long-term integrity. Concrete repairs were completed where needed to restore structural soundness.

This project successfully balanced historical preservation with practical restoration—bringing new life to a significant heritage asset while ensuring it remains fit for purpose for years to come.
