EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The heritage-listed building at Toowoomba East State School recently underwent a carefully planned roof refurbishment, aimed at preserving both the building’s structural integrity and historical character.

Our scope included a full roof clean to remove years of built-up grime, followed by detailed rebed and repointing works to restore and secure the tiled surface. To complete the restoration, a high-grade roof sealant was applied, providing lasting protection against weathering while respecting the building’s original appearance.

This project helped extend the life of the roof and ensured the school’s heritage remains protected for future generations
