EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Entekra team addressed significant water penetration issues at a KFC restaurant, caused by worn silicon around rooftop equipment and old penetrations. To resolve this, a liquid applied waterproofing system was implemented. This solution was chosen for its effectiveness in sealing leaks and its ability to maintain the restaurant’s operational status during the project. The liquid applied system provided a seamless and flexible barrier against water ingress, ensuring long-term roof protection. As a result, the KFC restaurant remained open and functional throughout the repair process.
