EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Entekra was commissioned to address severe deterioration in the Fugal pit at Condong Sugar Mill. The pit, which had not been maintained since its construction, faced extensive damage from acidic waste sugar, leading to significant concrete erosion. Entekra’s solution involved a thorough pressure cleaning to remove contaminants, followed by applying a Gunite lining to repair and reinforce the damaged walls. A penetrating treatment was applied to the surface to enhance its longevity and resistance to future acid attacks. Entekra's work significantly improved the pit's durability, ensuring a longer life expectancy and better operational stability for the Condong Sugar Mill.
